Adult Basic Education

Designed for adults who need to brush up on basic skills. Classes may occasionally be offered at other times. Check with office for current class offerings, schedule updates, and to register.

Transition Options Program (TOPS)
For Adults with Asperger's Syndrome or Related Disorders                

This program addresses the unique needs of adults with Asperger's Syndrome and related disorders transitioning to higher education and/or employment. The curriculum includes: social/behavioral development, independent living skills, community access and resources, and work/college readiness skills.

This is a comprehensive educational day program that focuses on developing each student's potential and independence. The curriculum is highly comprehensive and includes: functional academics, independent living, skills, soical/interpersonal skills and job training.

The learning center is designed for students to complete the coursework needed to obtain a high school diploma. Work at your own pace following an individualized course plan.

Independent Study for Adults

Can't attend a class because of a tight schedule?

Students reading at a 9th grade level are eligible for this program. Register for an orientation to see if you qualify. At the time of registration and enrollment, a $50 deposit is required. Supplementary study materials are available for purchase.

GED Examination Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a valid government-issued ID, such as a driver's license or DMV-issued ID, a passport, visa or military ID indicating date of birth, current residence and signature.
  • Social security number recommended for registration.
