All Adult Education classes have approved courses of study before they are taught. These forms are available in the Main Offic at Loma Vista Adult Center. Here is what a Course of Study covers:

I. Title, Teacher, Program, Date Submitted, Length in Weeks, Hours per Week

II. Brief Discussion

III. Goals and Purposes (broad direction or purpose of course related to student needs)

IV. Performance Objectives (measurable statements using terms such as demonstrate ability, show how, describe, identify, list, etc. that describe intended outcome of instruction). Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

V. Methods of Evaluation (Observation, Student Participation, etc.)

VI. Conditions of Repetition

VII. Methods of Instruction (Lecture, Discussion, Demonstration, etc.)

VIII. Instructional Units (Clear and Specific, and in Chronological Order) List Units and Hours.
