Ed Sias Award

1983-2005

Mr. Sias loved to congratulate the recipients of the annual award named in his honor at the end of season Track & Field Team ceremony. Since its inception in 1983 the award, which recognizes the "Most Dedicated" male and female athlete, has been presented to 41 fantastic Falcons.

Receiving the award from Mr. Sias above are 1991 stars Robbie Rocha (91) and Jenny Steddick (91). Rocha was a four year Varsity letterman on both the soccer and track & field teams. In the spring his specialties were the short sprints and leadoff legs on both relays. Steddick, a four year cross country and track distance runner, can be found on the "King of Pain" list as well as on the all time course record lists for Hidden Valley Park and Newhall Park.
