San Antonio College Relays DMR Rolls to National Top Ten Performance, School Records Crushed at Mt. SAC Relays SO FAST, not even the announcer could keep up with Lindsay Allen (04) as she charged through the field on her amazing anchor leg in the Mt. San Antonio College Relays Invitational Distance Medley. Allen's 4:56.4 split for 1600m rocketed the Falcons from sixth to second, nearly catching the winners, San Marcos of Santa Barbara, at the tape. The 12:13.2 school record was a team effort, with Nicole Pennes (06) leading off in 3:52.4 for 1200m, followed by a blazing 400m leg by Linae Young (04) in 58.5, and Diane Dunn's (04) 800m split of 2:27.0. More impressive may have been that Allen's DMR anchor came only two hours after running a stunning 2:12.9 personal best 800m in the 3200m Relay! Both splits were the fastest of the meet, making her the top high school distance athlete of the event.
