All-Time Performances abound in Historic Clash with Campo

The rivalry between the Cougars and Falcons during the cross country season inspired a Hidden Valley Park dual meet battle featuring the fastest team times in course history. After Wednesday's sensational clash on the track however, it appears neither team came close to exhausting the competitive fire that exists between them.

This was made clear from the get-go, as both Varsity 400 Relay teams streaked to season best times. Moments later the 1600m races provided an avalanche of personal records, including 4:39 for Jeff Smith (06) to lead a trio of Frosh Soph boys under five minutes!

In the field it was Derek Bowen (04) springing to 6th All-Time with a high jump clearance of six feet. Christina Thung (05) bounded her way over 34 feet in triple jump, Kim Bowen (07) edged closer to 16 feet in long jump, and Kai Glover (04) crossed in 22.8 for 200m. All record board performances!

Kelsey Dallara (07) wasted little time returning from injury, running to 7th All-Time in the 1600m, while Frosh Soph teammate Becky Cederwall (07) set personal records and scored in four events to help their team to an impressive century mark in the score books. Aiding the cause was a fine outing by Kristin Cameron (06), as she broke the 25 and 70 foot mark in shot put and discus respectively.
