Relays Allen Wins 800m, Stephens Second in Vault at Oakland Lindsay Allen (04) strung out the Oakland Invite 800m field early with a 63.4 first lap, then charged home to finish in 2:12.9ce for the win, and a new school record. Teammate Diane Dunn (04) also made some record board revisions, moving to second all-time with her own fifth place finish. Meanwhile, Amy Stephens (07) soared over ten feet for second in the vault as the Falcons previewed the site for the 2004 NCS Meet of Champions. Allen, Dunn, and Stephens, like their veteran teammates, know that a return to Edwards Stadium in May is the ultimate goal for a squad again contending for an NCS regional championship. Other all-time improvements came from Ashley Cheda (05) in the 100 Hurdles, Nicole Pennes (06) in the 1600m, Liz Noey (04) and Mitchell Steves (04) in the 3200m, and the 400m relay quartet of Lianne Lum (07), Liz Williams (04), Melissa King (04), and Angie Barber (07).
