NCS AREA CHAMPIONS!
Four School Records, Six Event Champions Lead Varsity Girls to First Ever Tri-Valley Title

Making up for two years of near misses, the Falcons laid claim to their first ever NCS Tri-Valley Championship with an emphatic 138 point performance that more than doubled the score of their nearest competitor!

Christina Thung's (05) 35-5 mark in triple jump, Missy Wagner's (05) 300 Hurdle win in 45.4ce, Lindsay Allen's (04) meet record setting 2:12.8ce for 800m, and the 400 Relay's third straight NCS victory all moved to the top of the Falcon All-Time lists!

Other top ten performances came from Nicole Pennes (06) and Kelsey Dallara (07) with second and fifth place finishes in both the 1600m and 3200m respectively. Diane Dunn (04) rounded out the distance domination with her 2:16.7ce finish for 800m. Lianne Lum (07) streaked to fifth All-Time in the 200m at 26.2ce. In the hurdles Ashley Cheda (05) equaled the school record at 16.0ce for 100m, then came back to run second all time behind Wagner in the 300m. Katie Maltester's (05) 46.8ce in the same event moves her to fourth All-Time!

Freshman throwing phenom Taylor Strand (07) belted out the fourth best shot put mark ever at 34-3, then placed fifth in discus at 106-6, good enough for fifth All-Time.

Meanwhile, the boy's were posting historic marks of their own. Kent Henry (04) climbed to fifth on the record board with his 1:57.0ce clocking for 800m. He followed that up with an anchor leg that helped teammates Brian Turnbloom (05), Kai Glover (04) and Brian Brown (05) finish third in 3:25.3ce. The mark bumps the quartet to fourth best in CPHS history!
