Strand Hits 35 Feet, Boy's 1600 Relay Squad 3rd All-Time
Scot VanBuskirk (07) opened with a 50.5 split to spark a relay effort for the ages as teammates Brian Turnbloom (05), Brian Brown (05), and 50.4 anchor ace Jeff Rayos (05) climbed to third on the Falcon All-Time list, finishing second in their heat at Friday's NCS Meet of Champions trials.
Rewriting her own record, Taylor Strand (07) improved to 35 feet in shot put, finishing 8th in the 27 athlete field.
Not to be left out, the girl's 3200 Relay team of Susanne Morris (07), Chloe Madison (07), Margot Cuero (07) and Alyson Finley (08) continued the Falcon streak in the exhibition event with a decisive win.
