Scorching 10:37.1 for Pennes; Foote Rallies to Fifth All-Time
Finishing third in the invitational section of the Sacramento Meet of Champions 3200m, Nicole Pennes (06) appears poised to break former teammate Lindsay Allen's school record. Finishing on the heels of national star Mel Lawrence and Escalon's Amanda Moreno, Pennes knocked eleven seconds off her previous best and now stands just two seconds shy of Allen's 10:35.6 effort of a year ago.
Eugenie Foote (08) improved her own 3200m time to 11:23.0ce to edge out 2002 Falcon grad Ashley Allen for the fifth spot on the record board. Meanwhile, Nicole Wall (07) and Susanne Morris (07) helped the 1600 Relay to a season best 4:05.1ce with 61.2 and 62.6 splits respectively.
