May 10, 2005ALYSON FINLEY anchored the frosh soph girls route of the DFAL with 28 individual points at the League Championship meet. Her 3200m victory was over a minute ahead of the nearest competitor! She also won the 1600m, finished second to teammate Margot Cuero in the 800m, and jumped 13-6 in LJ for fun! May 10, 2005MICHAEL TOTH left the best for last, launching himself 19 feet to win the frosh soph DFAL long jump title. He then sailed 11-6 to top all competitors in pole vault at the League Championship meet. Check out his vital statistics HERE!
May 13, 2005NICOLE PENNES lived up to her billiing as the distance diva of the DFAL, winning the 1600m, 800m, and 3200m in convincing fashion at the championship meet. Her 30 individual points helped the Falcons overtake Miramonte for the league title. Check out her vital statistics HERE!
May 13, 2005JEFF RAYOS dropped the hammer on his leg of the 1600 Relay, splitting 50.6 to help the team advance to the NCS Tri-Valley Championships. May 28, 2005TAYLOR STRAND exploded in the post season, with a 35 foot shot put heave and 122 discus toss that moved her to third All-Time in both events.
