5th All-Time Performance Sends Madison to Finals; Girls' 3200 Relay Dominates MOC
Chole Madison (07) executed a perfect race plan at Friday's Meet of Champion Trials in Berkeley's Edwards Stadium to move up on the All-Time record board for the third consecutive week, and earn a spot in Saturday's finals. Her bold move to the lead after a quick 68 second first lap forced the pace, insuring qualification over runners in the other trial heats.
The Falcons distance prowess was further showcased in the 3200 Relay as Rachel Tsao (09) gapped the field by 20 meters on her lead off leg before handing over the race to Christina Ortolan (07). Ortolan, Clara Tsao (09) and Susanne Morris (07) continued to increase the lead through the finish, winning by twenty seconds over second place Campolindo.
