Junior Distance Star Drops 13 second PR to Shock Favorites

Andy Peabody (07) looked to be in great position for state meet qualification at the half way point in his 3200m race at Saturday's NCS Meet of Champions. An evenly split 4:40 at the mile placed him in the lead pack with the likes of heavy section favorites Chris Viscaino and Ben Gutierrez. In fact, from all accounts, the Falcon junior appeared comfortable, patiently allowing others to do the pace setting work and cut the back stretch wind.

5th All-Time Performance Sends Madison to Finals; Girls' 3200 Relay Dominates MOC

Chole Madison (07) executed a perfect race plan at Friday's Meet of Champion Trials in Berkeley's Edwards Stadium to move up on the All-Time record board for the third consecutive week, and earn a spot in Saturday's finals. Her bold move to the lead after a quick 68 second first lap forced the pace, insuring qualification over runners in the other trial heats.

Martsching Tops 4-10, Finley Kicks to 8th All-Time, Boy's 400 Relay Cracks 44 Seconds

Saturday's NCS Tri-Valley Area Championships at Granada High School provided surprisingly accommodating conditions with overcast skies and minimal winds, helping several Falcons to season best performances.

CAPTURE THE FLAG: Stanton Edwards (06) captained his squad to victory. The annual spring break activity enjoyed a full turnout as Falcons dashed and dodged their way through the overgrown fields of Hidden Valley Park.

SPRING BREAK POOL PARTY A BLAST: 90 minutes of frolic at the CPHS pool! While some simply lounged, others participated in wacky water sports like half court water polo and beach ball volleyball.
