2002 Cross Country Season Results and Pictures Allen, Steves Times Selections Congratulations to Lindsay Allen (04) and Mitchell Steves (04) on their selection as "Prep Athletes of the Fall" by the Contra Costa Times. Girls Earn Third Consecutive NCS Scholastic Title The North Coast Section has recognized College Park Cross Country's outstanding team grade point average and commitment to school and community service with the 2002 Scholastic Championship Team Award. The Varsity Girl's unweighted 3.76 GPA for the fall season, along with participation in a variety of service projects, including campus cleanup days, teacher assistance, and volunteer work for Martinez Park & Leisure Services, earned them the honor for a third straight year! Also recognized were the Varsity Boys for their fantastic 3.49 GPA, second only to Alameda High School in Division II. Congratulations on a season of tremendous success! |
