Noon Activity – Show off a cultural dance in the amphitheater!

***Next Friday Spirit Day – For Valentine’s Day – Wear red, pink, hearts any Vanentine’s theme!!

 

NO SCHOOL

Remember there is no school on Monday, Feb 13th for Lincoln’s Birthday and also again on Monday,

Feb 20th for President’s Day.  Be sure to remind your parents!!!

 

CJSF

CJSF is a state honor society that recognizes scholarships, service and citizenships.  Spring semester is open to 7th & 8th graders who meet scholarship and citizenship requirements.  8 graders who were members 1st semester must re-apply.  Eligibility information is available from Ms. Brewington or Ms. Chatagnier.

 

VALENTINE GRAM SALES!!!

Today is the last day to purchase a special message along with a treat to someone you care about.  Purchase one Valentine Gram for 50 cents each, to any DVMS student.  Sales going on during both lunches in front of the Library.

 

VALENTINE’S DANCE

Come to the Valentine’s Day dance!  It is being held on Wed. Feb. 15th from 2-4 pm...  All grades are invited.  Tickets are five dollars and will be sold on the 9th, 10th, 14th, and 15th at both lunches in front of the Library.  Also there will be a Valentine’s Day photo booth where you and your friends can get your picture taken in front of a Valentine’s Day themed background.  Coupons for one photo will be sold along with the tickets and during the dance for $1.00.

 

OLD MAGAZINES

Do you have any old magazines with pictures of food?  Mrs. Pelosi needs foodie pictures for an upcoming project and would appreciate any magazines you can donate.

 

ELECTRONIC WASTE COLLECTION

The “Cleaning for a Reason” program is once again sponsoring an electronic waste collection event on Saturday, Feb 11th from 10am – 4pm.  The event will be at DVMS on the south end of Marsh Creek Road and will be accepting items such as televisions, monitors, laptops, cell phones, small electronics, etc.  For information call:  925-549-1776 or www: cleaningforareason.org.
