Robert welcomed everyone and the meeting was called to order at 3:30 pm. The minutes from December meeting were read. A motion was made by Denise Hood to accept the minutes as presented. Motion was seconded by Sara Durrant. Motion passed unanimously. After reviewing our School Library Improvement Block Grant (SLIBG) funds and a discussion about the precariousness of the district’s financial situation, a motion was made by Luna Lopez to eliminate the following positions for the 2011/2012 school year: Psychologist Intern $6,000 Motion was seconded by Debbie Hickey. Motion passed unanimously. Shelia Bergum made a motion in the event funding for our SLIBG funding is restored to its 2010/2011 levels, the position for a Psychologist Intern would be restored for the 2011/2012 school year. Motion was seconded by Debbie Hickey. Motion passed unanimously. Robert expressed he would have the REC 1’s funded by ARRA funds ready for discussion at the next meeting as he would have to have the funds spent/encumbered by the end of September 2011/2012 school year. The Site Council members decided to table a discussion regard the number of noon supervisors and the campus supervisor II hours for the next meeting. Debbie made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:07 pm. Sheila seconded the motion. Meeting was adjourned.
