Absences

Since teaching is such a challenging job and since attendance is sooo very important for a child to learn, we can't express enough thanks to our wonderful parents to call our office whenever their child is ill or will not be attending school.

Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten Registration takes place the first week of May from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the Fair Oaks Multi-Use room. You will need to bring the following with you:

Registered copy of birth certificate
Proof of residence (current PG&E bill)
Immunization Record - Children entering kindergarten in September, 2006 will be required to have:

Hepatitis B - 3 doses
MMR - 2 doses after 1st birthday
Poliomyelitis - 3 doses (four doses if third was given before age of 4)
DTP - 4 doses (five doses if 4th was given before age of 4)
Varicella - 1 dose

Children must obtain a health examination no earlier than 6 months before entering kindergarten. Health forms are available in the office, as are all other information, prior to the time of registration.

Immunizations

K	4 doses (max) - 3 doses okay if one was given on/after 4th birthday.	At least 4 doses - if the 4th or last dose was given on/after 4th birthday.	2 doses on or on/after 1st birthday.	3 doses - Students may enter school with 1 dose, 2nd would be due in 1-2 months and 3rd in 2-6 months.	No earlier than March of 2005.
