Attention 8th Grade Girls! Do you like to swim?  Do you enjoy being challenged athletically?  Would you like to be a part of a DVAL Championship team? Northgate Women's Water Polo is recruiting new players for the 2012 season.  Please see Mrs. Pappas if you are interested in playing at Northgate next year.

 

2012-2013 Foothill Jazz Band Tryouts--Tryouts for rhythm section positions in next year's Foothill Jazz Band will be coming up very soon.  Drum set tryouts will take place on Friday, May 25.  Drummers will need to bring a pair of drumsticks and should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to play in rock, swing, and latin styles.  Keyboard tryouts will take place on Friday, June 1.  Students should bring a prepared piece (Jazz is preferred, but not required.) to play and be prepared to do some sightreading.  Bass auditions will be on Tuesday, June 5.  No instrument or previous experience is required for this audition.  All auditions will begin at 2:45 p.m. in the music room.  Contact Mr. Wetterholm if you have questions.

 

Thursday, May 24:  There will be one lunch at 12:06pm due to 8th Grade Activity Day
