Renaissance

Renaissance Coordinator - Brenda Allenbaugh, allenbaughb@mdusd.k12.ca.us In order to recognize and encourage positive and outstanding student behavior, we have developed a student recognition program at GlenBrook Middle School called RENAISSANCE. Each quarter students will be honored for their academic and attendance success through special recognition in their classes and during special rallies and assemblies. Criteria for Nominations:

Renaissance will recognize students who:

• Have earned academic success, including improving their GPA by .75 or more in one quarter and who have maintained a GPA of 2.0 and above.
• Have not missed one day of school, and have not been tardy to any class each semester.
• Have accomplished or achieved anything deserving of special recognition.

Methods of Recognition:

Students will be recognized in the following manners:

• Personal recognition from a Renaissance committee member.
• Receipt of Certificate and other gifts.
• Names published in parent newsletter.

We sincerely hope that this program will encourage positive student behavior and reward those deserving students.
