Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Highlands PTA is a volunteer organization of parents and educators who work together to promote the well being of all students. We encourage membership and participation at whatever level you feel you can offer. Your membership and support provides all our children with programs that directly benefit them. PTA supports funding for the following:
The Back to School PTA meetings will be held on September 1 and September 3 in the MU room at 7pm. For the rest of the school year PTA meetings are held in the school library on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm. For the 2009-2010 school year, dates are as follow: Oct 1, Nov 5, Jan 7, Feb 4, Mar 4, Apr 1, and May 6. It's easy! Just download this form, fill it out, and turn it into the school office with $15.00. Your PTA membership entitles you to vote on issues at our school that directly impact your children. Our local PTA council is very involved with the current legislation going on in the California State Assembly and Senate, working to secure adequate laws/funding for education. Highlands PTA is a volunteer organization of parents and educators who work together to promote the well being of all students. We encourage membership and participation at whatever level you feel you can offer. At the beginning of the school year the classrooms have a PTA membership contest. A prize will be awarded to the classroom(s) with the highest percentage of membership participation. .other information are provided.
