Hello Room 25 students and parents, and welcome to the fourth grade. I am looking forward to another great year at Holbrook. This year will be filled with new experiences as you dive into the history of California and investigate the sciences. We will be reading and writing both fiction and nonfiction pieces, and will be met with new math challenges. There are several items that you can help us with. Below is a supply list of much needed classroom items. 1. Pencils-dozens. Many can be stored at home. 2. Binder Paper- with lines for writing. 3. Colored pencils 4. Tissues 5. Hand held pencil sharpener 6. Pocket file folders (often sold at CVS and Target for 10 for $1.00 when school supplies are sold). Have several on hand so that if one tears, you child will have another. 7. Clean up wipes for desks and furniture (preferably without bleach in them) 8. Liquid soap 9. White board markers – the thin ones are best. Any color will do. 10. A 1 inch binder which we will divide into 2 sections. (Larger binders will not fit into the desk.)
