Monte staff is a community of life long learners.
Staff development is an integral part of the school focus. Teachers participate
in two annual buy back days. Additionally, teachers create annual
professional development plans at their grade level as part of their Single
Plan for Student Achievement plan goals.

The district coordinates a varied staff development programs for
teachers and administrators based on assessed needs and state mandates. Two
days prior to school and one buy-back day during the school year are
