Welcome to Instrumental Music
Fourth and fifth grade students who sign up at the beginning of the school year will receive lessons for violin, cello, flute, clarinet, trumpet, or trombone, and--with special teacher permission--saxophone, and percussion.  Lessons are free, and there are some school instruments available to borrow.   Those who do not get a school instrument will need to get one on their own (I suggest renting from a music store).  Lessons are given during the regular school day.  This year, lessons are given on Thursdays and Fridays.  The last day of music instruction for the 2007-2008 school year is June 5th.  All borrowed instruments and materials are due to be returned on that day.

Fall Concert – date and time TBA
This concert is for all instrumental music students.  This concert is at Monte Gardens Elementary School.  Performers wear nice clothes, any color. 

Area Band Festival – date TBA
This concert is for band students only.  Arrive at Concord High School at 7:10 p.m.  Performers wear black/dark on bottom, white on top.

District Orchestra Festival- date and location TBA
This concert is for string students only.  Arrive at 7:10 p.m.  Performers wear black/dark on bottom, white on top.

Spring Concert-time and date TBA
This concert is for all instrumental music students.  This concert is at Monte Gardens Elementary School.  Performers wear nice clothes, any color.
