PTA Teacher and Staff Support

All-in-One Day – PHE PTA organizes and manages this August event where parents can come to the school, turn in their emergency forms, join the PTA and Foundation, pay for school lunches, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and purchase class-specific, prepackaged school supplies.

Direct Classroom Donations – PHE PTA annually donates funds to the spending accounts of each teacher and most support positions including P.E., the Reading Lab, the Computer Lab, Speech Development, Occupational Therapy, Resource, and the library. These funds are used by teachers and staff for materials that directly support our children.

Room Parent Coordination – Room parents are under the coordination of a Head Room Parent, which is a PTA board position. The PTA helps room parents coordinate school-wide projects, such as scheduling Carnoween volunteers.

Fall Teacher Luncheon – We welcome back our teachers with a luncheon a few days before school starts.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week – In late May we celebrate our great teachers at PHE with a variety of events including classroom door decorating and a car wash.
