Anime Club Meets Fridays 2:40-3:45 in room D7 with Ms. Mousa

Art Club Meets the first two Tuesdays each month in room C-1 with Ms. Deatsch. Will meet 9/15 9/22, 10/20, 10/27, 11/10, 11/17, 12/8, 12/15.

Book Club: Book Clubs meetings are after Library Club meetings from 3:30 – 4:00.  You do not have to be a member of the Library Club to attend, or attend every meeting.  Meetings are casual with students sharing books that they’ve read over the past month.  When a popular book has been made into a movie the members consider going to see it together.

CJSF (California Junior Scholarship Federation) fosters high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship. Open to 8th graders 1st semester, will be open to 7th and 8th graders 2nd semester. Every Thursday in Room D-6 from 2:45-3:30. Need to pick up application from Ms. Montoya or B-side of office. First meeting is September 10.

Earth Club Science Ecology Club - (Environmental Adolescents Respecting Their Homes) every Monday in room C-4, 2:45 - 3:45 with Mr. Landesvatter
Lego Club - Meets every Monday (except holidays) in Room D7  2:45 - 3:45 with Ms. Mousa
Library Club:  The library club promotes activities that will bring students into the library, sponsors fundraisers that raise money for the purchase of library books and work in the library when it is open.  Meetings are usually the first Thursday of every month from 2:340 – 3:30 in the library.  Membership is always open and service points are earned by participating.

Homework ClubOpen to all on drop in basis for help in all subject areas. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in room C-3, 2:45 - 3:45

Poetry Slam:  This club is for 8th graders only.  After the English classes participate in the Spoken Word Poetry workshops being offered in January, students will be invited to continue writing and sharing their poetry with each other every Friday after school from 2:40 – 3:30. Students may join any time after the club begins.  In the past, Poetry Slam members have put on assemblies for 7th and 8th graders in June.

Run/Walk Club - Every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45 - 3:15 on the blacktop/field with Ms. Enloe

Woodshop Club - Open to 7th and 8th graders. Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 - 4:00 in the Woodshop
