    Practice Paragraph

Break the habit of looking from the copy to the monitor and down at your hands. Looking away from the copy will keep you from building up your speed and becoming a better keyboarder. Keeping your eyes on the copy is your goal. When you look from the copy to check the monitor you lose your place and waste time trying to find it again. Lost time can lower your speed. So do not look away.
