Open House Mark your calendars now for Open House. The date is Wednesday, May 22nd from 7-8pm.
Patriotic Sing-a-long June 3rd at 7pm we are having another Kindergarten sing-a-long. We have been practicing our songs and the students are learning about our Nation’s history!
Robin Hood Friday, May 3rd is our Dean Lesher trip. All students come from 8:10am to 12:00pm. You may pack a lunch to be eaten upon return at 11:30am. I am only allowed 8 parent spots and first priority will be given to those parents who have not yet attended a field trip.
Eggs Are Here! Our class has begun the egg incubation process which takes 21 days. “Chick chirps” will fill the room the week of May 13th.

Fake flowers (can be in bunches from Michaels)
3 boxes of shredded wheat plain cereal (no frosting)
Highlights This week we finished our Spring theme. We are continuing to work on reading comprehension, focusing this week on how to retell a story. At stations we made Iris Flowers and Robin Redbreasts. Since next week begins Snail week, this was our last week of Guided Reading.
Weekly Poem This weeks poem is I’m a Little Snail. Next week is Snail Week! We will be writing, doing Math problems, drawing, and observing land and water snails!
