Number Poems

A straight line down and now you're done
You have made a number one.

First the curve and down, choo, choo,
You have made the number two.

Around the tree, around the tree,
You have made the number three.

Down, then right, then down once more,
You have made the number four.

Down, around, put on the top.
Sakes alive you've made a five.

First the curve and then around,
Now the number six you've found.

Across the sky and down from heaven,
You have made the number seven.

First the "s," close the gate,
You have made the number eight.

First the oval and then the line,
You have made the number nine.

Practice writing the numerals a couple of times each as you say the poem.
