The prevalent budget crisis has made it clear that parents, families, and the local community will need to continue to support our schools and fund the gap left by state budget cuts. We have lead successful fundraising events in the past and many of those will continue, meanwhile, we hope that you will participate in our Jaguar Fund specifically to help support Walnut Acres. Without participation by every family in the Jaguar Fund, in these times of of extreme uncertainty in educational funding, our PFC’s commitments to directly support our kids is at risk.
Special thanks to Patty Galindo and Marita Louw and all of the people who helped prepare for Jaguar Day! And thank you to all of you, our Walnut Acres PFC community, for making this day a success.
The August WAPFC meeting is scheduled for August 22nd at 7pm in the Walnut Acres School library. We are looking forward to seeing you at the PFC meeting and at Jaguar Day on August 23rd!
